Terms and Conditions

Egyptian Horizon Tours

Effective date: October 14, 2026

1. Introduction and acceptance

Welcome to Egyptian Horizon Tours (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”).

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, communications with our team, and bookings made directly with Egyptian Horizon Tours for tours, excursions, sightseeing, travel arrangements, and related services.

By submitting a booking request, accepting a booking confirmation, or using our services, you agree to the terms applicable to your booking, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a reservation or paying a deposit. Your booking confirmation and itinerary may contain additional details specific to your trip. If a booking-specific term conflicts with these general terms, the booking-specific term will apply only to the extent that it is clearly agreed upon and legally permitted.

2. Our services

Egyptian Horizon Tours offers travel planning and tourism-related services, which may include:

  • Guided tours and sightseeing in Egypt.
  • Private and group excursions.
  • Transportation and transfers.
  • Accommodation arrangements.
  • Activities, attraction visits, and cultural experiences.
  • Other travel services expressly listed in a booking confirmation.

The services included in each package will be described in the applicable itinerary, quotation, invoice, or written booking confirmation.

Unless expressly included in writing, a booking does not automatically include airfare, visas, travel insurance, meals, gratuities, personal expenses, optional activities, or other additional costs.

We will communicate material inclusions, exclusions, and additional charges as part of the booking process.

3. Reservations and booking confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability and written confirmation from Egyptian Horizon Tours.

To request a booking, you may contact us directly through our website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, or another communication method we make available.

A booking is confirmed only when we have communicated acceptance of the reservation in writing and specified the applicable payment requirements.

Before payment, or at the time required by applicable law, we will provide the relevant booking information, including as applicable:

  • Traveler and booking details.
  • Destinations, dates, itinerary, and duration.
  • Services included and excluded.
  • Total price, deposit amount, payment dates, and remaining balance.
  • Cancellation, change, and refund conditions.
  • Relevant transportation, accommodation, and other service-provider details.
  • Any important restrictions, contingencies, or additional charges.

Please review your confirmation promptly. Notify us in writing of any errors or discrepancies as soon as possible.

4. Prices, deposits, and payment

4.1 Prices

Prices will be provided in the applicable quotation or booking confirmation. The confirmation should identify the currency, the total price, and any applicable taxes, fees, surcharges, or additional expenses.

Prices may depend on availability, travel dates, group size, exchange rates, supplier pricing, and the services selected. Once a booking is confirmed, changes to the agreed price will be handled in accordance with the booking terms and applicable law.

4.2 Deposit requirement

A deposit may be required to secure a reservation and allow us to arrange services with hotels, guides, transportation providers, or other suppliers.

The required deposit amount or percentage, payment deadline, and purpose will be stated in your written quotation or booking confirmation.

A deposit is not automatically non-refundable in every circumstance. Whether any amount can be retained or refunded depends on the cancellation terms disclosed for your booking, the circumstances of cancellation, supplier commitments, and applicable law.

4.3 Remaining balance

Your booking confirmation will state the remaining balance and the deadline for payment.

If a balance is not paid by the specified deadline, we may provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue where required. Subject to applicable law and the agreed booking terms, an overdue balance may result in cancellation of the reservation or loss of availability.

Any resulting cancellation charges must be consistent with the applicable booking terms and law.

4.4 Payment methods and receipts

Available payment methods will be communicated during booking. We will provide a written record of your booking and payments.

You should retain your invoice, payment receipts, booking confirmation, and any written changes to your reservation.

5. Cancellation, changes, and refunds

5.1 Customer cancellations

If you wish to cancel, contact us at info@egyptianhorizontours.com or +1 (929) 379-0092 and clearly state your name, booking reference, and requested cancellation date.

The effective cancellation date will be determined in accordance with the applicable booking terms and any mandatory legal requirements.

Our intended policy is to use a tiered cancellation schedule, with cancellation charges based on how far in advance a customer cancels. The exact deadlines, percentages, and fees must be stated in the quotation or booking confirmation before payment.

The following schedule is a framework to complete for each applicable tour, not a statement of currently established fees:

Time before departureCancellation charge
More than [X days][Confirmed charge or refund rule]
[Y–X days] before departure[Confirmed charge or refund rule]
Fewer than [Y days] before departure[Confirmed charge or refund rule]
After departure or for a no-show[Confirmed charge or refund rule]

The applicable schedule may differ by tour, hotel, cruise, ticket, transportation service, or other supplier. Where supplier-specific terms apply, those terms must be disclosed to you as part of the booking arrangements.

We will calculate any refund based on the applicable terms and mandatory legal requirements. We will not charge a cancellation fee or retain a deposit where doing so would violate applicable law.

5.2 Changes requested by the customer

Requests to change travel dates, names, passenger numbers, accommodations, activities, or other booking details are subject to availability and supplier approval.

Changes may result in additional charges, including supplier fees, fare differences, or costs of replacing non-changeable arrangements. We will explain any material additional cost and obtain your agreement where required before proceeding.

If a requested change cannot be accommodated, the existing booking’s cancellation terms may apply.

5.3 Cancellations or changes by Egyptian Horizon Tours

If we must cancel a service that we are responsible for providing, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and explain the available options.

Depending on the circumstances, applicable law, and the specific booking terms, options may include an appropriate refund for services not provided, an alternative arrangement, or another remedy required by law.

If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, we will communicate the available options and assist with the next steps. The treatment of payments and refunds will depend on the applicable supplier contract, the services affected, and any legal obligations.

5.4 Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law or, where no mandatory period applies, within a reasonable period communicated to you.

Where possible, refunds will be returned through the original payment method. If that is not possible, we will coordinate a reasonable alternative with you.

A refund may take additional time to appear because of bank, card issuer, or payment processor processing times. Any non-refundable third-party amount must be supported by the applicable booking terms and law.

5.5 Legal cancellation rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Certain travel agreements may be subject to special cancellation and disclosure requirements under New York law. Those rights will apply where legally relevant, regardless of a more restrictive general cancellation policy.

6. Itinerary changes and circumstances beyond our control

Travel arrangements can be affected by weather, transportation disruptions, attraction closures, safety concerns, government restrictions, operational requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably necessary, we may propose changes to the order, timing, guide, transportation, or other components of an itinerary. We will seek to preserve the overall character and value of the booked experience wherever practicable and communicate material changes as soon as possible.

If a material change substantially affects the services you purchased, we will explain the available options and any applicable refund or alternative-arrangement rights under your booking terms and the law.

We will not treat this clause as permission to make any change without regard to your legal rights.

7. Passports, visas, and entry requirements

Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and other documents required for their journey, unless we have expressly agreed in writing to provide a specific visa-related service.

Entry requirements depend on nationality, destination, transit points, and individual circumstances. Requirements can change, so travelers should verify current requirements with the relevant official government authorities and airlines before departure.

Egyptian Horizon Tours does not guarantee that a traveler will be granted a visa, permitted to board a flight, or admitted into a country.

If you cannot travel because your documents are incomplete or invalid, the cancellation and refund terms for your booking will apply, subject to applicable law.

8. Traveler responsibilities and conduct

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate traveler names, contact details, and other information needed to arrange your trip.
  • Arrive at agreed meeting points and departure locations on time.
  • Follow reasonable safety instructions from guides, drivers, and activity operators.
  • Respect local laws, customs, cultural sites, and other travelers.
  • Inform us promptly of important changes to your contact or booking information.
  • Pay agreed charges by the applicable deadlines.
  • Ensure that any minors traveling with you have the required supervision and documentation.

We may decline or discontinue participation in an activity where a person’s conduct creates a genuine safety risk, seriously disrupts the experience, or violates applicable law. Where this occurs, we will consider the circumstances and applicable legal requirements when determining whether any refund is due.

9. Health, accessibility, and safety

Travelers should consider their individual health, mobility, and accessibility needs when selecting tours and activities.

Please inform us before booking of any requirements that may materially affect the safe delivery of the services, including mobility assistance or relevant accessibility arrangements. We will explain what can reasonably be accommodated and identify any limitations known to us.

Some activities may involve walking, uneven surfaces, stairs, heat, water, vehicles, or other ordinary travel risks. Activity-specific safety information will be provided where appropriate.

Travelers should follow reasonable safety instructions and decide whether an activity is suitable for them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that travelers consider suitable travel insurance before departure. Depending on the policy, coverage may include medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip interruption, cancellation, lost baggage, or other unexpected events.

Insurance coverage varies by provider and policy. Travelers should review exclusions, limits, and eligibility conditions directly with the insurer.

Egyptian Horizon Tours does not provide insurance coverage unless we expressly confirm in writing that a particular insurance product is included or arranged. We do not guarantee that an insurer will approve a claim.

11. Third-party suppliers

Some services may be delivered by independent providers, including hotels, airlines, cruise operators, guides, transportation companies, restaurants, attractions, and activity operators.

The identity of relevant suppliers and the services they provide will be disclosed in the booking information as applicable.

Supplier-specific conditions may govern matters such as check-in, baggage, schedules, ticket changes, cancellations, and refunds. Where applicable, we will communicate material conditions as part of your booking.

We will make reasonable efforts to work with suitable providers and assist you with service issues. Nothing in these terms removes any responsibility or liability that applicable law places on Egyptian Horizon Tours, nor does it limit any rights you may have directly against a supplier.

12. Website information and availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website’s descriptions, photographs, itineraries, and other information accurate. However, website information may occasionally become outdated or contain errors.

Photographs and illustrations are intended to represent the general nature of an experience and may not depict the exact room, vehicle, view, or conditions that will be provided.

A service description on the website is not a guarantee of availability. Your confirmed booking documents will identify the arrangements agreed for your trip.

If we identify a material error affecting a proposed or confirmed booking, we will communicate it and work with you to resolve it in accordance with applicable law and the booking terms.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Egyptian Horizon Tours will not be responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or by an independent supplier’s actions where the law does not otherwise make us responsible.

We will not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits exclusion, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

Any permitted limitation of liability will be interpreted only to the extent allowed under the law applicable to the particular claim.

14. Privacy and personal information

We may collect and use information necessary to respond to inquiries, process bookings, communicate with travelers, arrange services, process payments, and meet legal obligations.

Depending on the booking, information may need to be shared with relevant service providers, such as hotels, guides, transportation companies, or activity operators.

We will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy. Travelers should avoid sending passport details, payment card information, or other sensitive information through an unsecured channel unless specifically instructed through an appropriate secure process.

A separate Privacy Policy should be published on the website. This section is not a substitute for a complete privacy notice explaining the information collected, how it is used and shared, retention practices, and any applicable privacy rights.

15. Force majeure

Neither party will be held responsible for a failure or delay to the extent caused by events beyond that party’s reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, armed conflict, terrorism, epidemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, major transportation disruptions, or other comparable events.

The affected party should notify the other as soon as reasonably practicable. We will work with you to explain the impact on the trip and identify reasonable alternatives where possible.

This section does not automatically eliminate refund obligations or override consumer rights, supplier contract terms, or other mandatory requirements of applicable law.

16. Complaints and assistance

If you experience a problem before or during your trip, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and assist.

Please provide your booking reference, the service affected, the date of the issue, and any relevant supporting information.

Contact details:

  • Email: info@egyptianhorizontours.com
  • Phone/WhatsApp: +1 (929) 379-0092

We will review complaints in good faith and respond within a reasonable period. If the matter cannot be resolved directly, you may have the right to seek assistance from a relevant consumer-protection authority or pursue any other remedy available under applicable law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and Conditions are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, to the extent that choice is legally effective.

Any dispute will be handled by a court or other forum with lawful jurisdiction over the matter. Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from bringing a claim in a forum where applicable law gives that consumer the right to do so.

Nothing in these terms overrides mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply because of the traveler’s location, the destination, the services supplied, or another legally relevant connection.

18. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.

Changes will generally apply to future bookings. A change will not retroactively remove contractual rights or protections attached to an existing booking where doing so is prohibited by law.

Your confirmed booking documents and any applicable mandatory legal requirements will continue to govern your reservation.
